Description
A hiking route through the area of the towns buried during the Timanfaya eruptions. We began by circling the first volcano that erupted on the night of September 1, 1730, El Cuervo. A walk among lava flows while we enjoy the views of the La Geria valley or the malpais of this area before entering the impressive crater of this volcano. From here, walking on volcanic ash, we reached Montaña Colorada, where we discovered the largest volcanic bomb on the island. Between streams, lichens and some specimen of vegetation, we arrive at a cave in the area, where we will take a short break before continuing with the route through the areas where up to 3 centuries ago there were villages, hamlets and fields
