Discovering La Geria

Description

Hiking route through the quintessential wine region of Lanzarote. From the hermitage of La Caridad, we began to walk through vineyards learning about the peculiar cultivation of the vine on the island. We climbed to one of the highest peaks in the south of the island, to see the crops at the top of the volcano. From the top of Guardilama we enjoy views of the entire La Geria valley, the Los Volcanes Natural Park and the southeast coast of Lanzarote. Here we will make a short break before going down to the starting point passing among the vines that grow on the slopes of the volcano. We finish with a local wine tasting in one of the La Geria wineries.
